- Rip and go
- After shooting, shooter will return to the wing and wait for the pass (or get their rebound and pass it to themselves if working out alone)
- The 2nd move will be to the left. Shooter will then alternate going right and left for the full minute.
- After 1 minute, the shooter will move to the top of the key and complete the process for the next minute.
- After another minute, the shooter will move to the opposite wing and complete the process for the last minute.
- **This is a great drill to record and measure your growth. Green Light shooting score is 27 makes
#2 - Elbow, wing, pullup
- Shooter begins in the short corner. On the go signal, they curl to the elbow for the catch and shoot.
- After they shoot, they backpedal to the wing. They will catch and shoot a 3 from that spot.
- Shooter will stay at the wing and receive the ball. On the catch, the shooter will make a live ball move going to the baseline for the one dribble pullup.
- This process is repeated for a set amount of time (1 or 2 minutes). Then move to the other side and repeat.
#3 - Transition Shooting Drill (Best completed w/ partner)
- Shooter starts at ½ court. On the Go, Shooter sprints to the around the world spot. Partner will pass to them on the move for the transition shot.
- After the shot is released, the shooter will backpedal back to ½ court.
- They will then sprint back to the spot for the catch and shoot.
- This process is continued until the shooter has made a set number of shots (3, 4, or 5 depending on skill)
- Partners then switch roles. For beginning shooters, a time limit may need to be set to cut that shooter off.
- Drill is completed until they have been to all spots.
